Mother Nature is playin’

As we embrace the end of the year at the ranch, Mother Nature decided to play with us. Baby pumpkins and mature pumpkins dot the garden, while vibrant peach blossoms and fresh figs add a touch of sweetness to the scene. Confused grapevines show signs of new buds and tender foliage. Sunflowers and zinnias bloom with exuberance, painting the ranch in vivid colors, and the olive trees stand tall, thriving in their contentment. It’s a reminder of the unpredictable nature of this time of year in our uniquely diverse Texas landscape. We find ourselves whispering and willing all the fruit trees, vines, and flowers to rest and ready themselves for an abundant 2025. It’s much too late for them to be awake . . . but they are.
